Mechanical Trade Assistant

The Role:

• Asist with the refit of a Vessel
• Use of power tools – Grinders
• Preparation of aluminium
• High Pressure Blasting
• Void and tank cleaning
• Removal of but not limited to:
  • Tyres, Nut and bolts
  • Awnings and side covers
  • Seats and life rafts
  • Assist with engine removal
  • Pipe work and removal of valves

Criteria:

• Valid driver’s licence
• Previous Experience in similar TA roles either Marine or Mechanical (Highly Desirable)
• Competent and experienced on Power tools
• White Card
• Highrisk Work Licence: LF or Rigging (Desirable but not required)
• Strong understanding of both mechanical and electronic systems
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to work with tools and in various positions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current National Police Clearance – Clean record
• Pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen Test
• Role is Casual/ Temporary
